As you're reading this, up to 15% of employees anywhere are on break. This means the 75% in the office are receiving extremely frustrating (and boring) Out-Of-Office replies.

As the ultimate champions of breaks at work, we decided to give a break to those who don't have one, but need one.

We put it in a place we knew they'd be looking: emails.

With 2.7 billion automated emails sent every day from employees on their break to colleagues back at the office, we turned every out-of-office email into a KitKat ad. Featuring ASCIl art embedded within the emails and promo codes redeemable on e-commerce platforms. We transformed an untapped media space into a seamless purchasing platform, delivering a break to those who needed it most.
